Marcia Miller reports there is a meal each Wednesday evening at 6:30 PM.
At 7 PM the RA's, Ga's, Mission Friends, Youth and Adult Prayer Meetings gather.

The cost is $10 per book, if they preorder by Dec. 14. It will be $12 after that. We would be happy to ship books out to people and the cost is $15.

This is a link to register for Mass Emergency Notification in Clay County. This system lets the people manage and update their own accounts. This system, the North Texas Regional Communications Registry, is just beginning and is not fully implemented at this time.
Please register online now if you can. Information will be sent out by phone call, text message, and emails. The type of information will be tornado warnings, water boil orders, evacuations, hazards in specific areas, and other emergencies that would cause eminent threat or danger to the public.

Bellevue FFA competed in the Houston Livestock Show Junior Ag Mechanics Competition in Houston March 16 - 19, 2012.
Winners included:
Ethan Staley - 1st in Class, 1st in Division and the Junior Ag Mechanics Show Reserve Grand Champion with his Zero Turn Radius Mower called the "Monster Mower". Ethan also won the HOOF Hard Luck Award and 4th place in the Job Fair Interview Competition.
Brandt Cassetty and Matthew Belcher - 3rd in Class with a hydraulic squeeze chute.
Tyler Terry - 4th in Class with a 14 foot ATV trailer.
Tyler Garrison won an $8,000 scholarship for a trade school in a competitive interview process.
Also competing from Bellevue and receiving blue ribbons were: Breannah Malear (ATV cultivator), Dylan Throckmorton (hay feeder), the FFA group project shown by Madison Terry and Kimberly Morrow (32 foot float trailer) and Trace Garrison (truck bed).
Students also competed in the San Antonio Junior Ag Mechanics Show in February and won several awards.

Ethan Staley and Dylan Throckmorton - tied for 2nd in Showmanship.

Bellevue ISD's One Act Play cast and crew competed in the UIL competition April 22, 2012 with a production of "Limbo". The play competed against area schools at the NCTC campus in Gainesville.
Cast members included Billy Schmer, Kimberly Morrow, Kody Coonfield, Katie Specht, Madison Terry, Emily Barnett, Kayla Specht, James Mangus, Shelby Watkins, Hanna Largent, Broc Terry, Emilio Mendoza and John Hanson. Crew members were Aleshia Lawrence, Ashley Parr, Tucker Wood and Joe Hankins. The production was directed by Marsha Hanson and Summer Eudey.
Awards were announced at the end of the competition and were given to Billy Schmer for All-Star Cast, Katie Specht for Honorable Mention All-Star Cast and Aleshia Lawrence for Crew Award.
Bellevue's FFA program is sending two teams to state competition in May.
The Farm Business Management Team won 3rd in Area competition and will advance to state. Araya Neyzat was 7th High Individual. Members of the team include Tucker Wood, Katie Specht, Kayla Specht and Araya Neyzat.
The Ag Mechanics Team won 2nd in Area competition and will also advance to state. Ethan Staley was 3rd High Individual, Matthew Belcher was 4th High Individual, Brandt Cassetty was 6th High Individual and Trace Garrison was 10th High Individual.
The Ag Mechanics Team also won 1st at the West Texas A & M Invitational.
Bellevue Student Fire Prevention Poster advances to State.
The Bellevue VFD hosted the fire prevention poster contest in October; Caedmon Meeks from Bowie placed first in her class and was advanced to the Red River State Firemen’s and Fire Marshalls Association District. Caedmon won first in her age group and has advanced to the state level to be displayed at the State convention at Houston in June Caedmon is 9 and was a 3rd grader at Bellevue Elementary, she is the daughter of John and Cindy Meeks. The other first place awards for local classes will be presented at the Bellevue School awards program. We are very proud and pleased to that we had so many entries and that we had such a good showing. Thank you the teachers for supporting the Bellevue VFD fire prevention program.
